Common questions
Which floor should I pick for a kitchen or bathroom?
For rooms that see water, LVP or tile. LVP is waterproof, warmer underfoot, and easier on the budget; tile is the most durable long-term. We’ll bring samples to your estimate and talk through it.
Do you remove and haul away the old flooring?
Yes — tear-out and haul-away are part of the quote. You won’t be left with a pile of old carpet in the garage.
Can you fix squeaky or uneven floors while you’re at it?
Yes — that’s exactly what the subfloor prep step is for. Squeaks get screwed down and uneven spots get leveled before the new floor goes in, so the problem doesn’t come back through your brand-new floor.
How long does a flooring install take?
Most single rooms take one to two days. Multi-room LVP or laminate jobs typically run two to four days; tile takes longer because of set and grout time. You’ll get a schedule with your quote.
Do I need to move my furniture first?
We’ll handle the big stuff — just clear out the small and breakable items. Tell us what’s staying in the room when we quote and we’ll plan for it.
